We are developing robot-culture combined robots that enrich lives beyond industrial or amusing robotic applications. We aim to create
a comprehensive robot culture content that comforts people's hearts and enhances the quality of their cultural lives. With this in mind,
we are creating various robots that convey happiness through music by playing real musical instruments.

Robot Drummer 'ANT' is the first of its kind. 'Ant', which resembles the shape of an ant, is a robot that plays real drums using both arms like
a human being. It can play a full set of drums with its arms moving up and down, left and right, and back and forth like a human.
Though it is not yet comparable to the human level, Ant is able to play a variety of tunes, adjusting the intensity and speed of beating drums
just as humans do, beyond playing at the level of merely mechanical performance.

Based on our experience in developing 'Ant', we are conducting development fo various musical instrument-playing robots such as xylophone,
marimba, and other percussion instruments, wind instrument-playing robots including saxophone and clarinet, and string instruments-playing
robots like guitar and violin. In the long run, we will move toward the goal of creating robotic cultural contents that everyone can enjoy
by creating a robotic orchestra composed of these robots.
